STPI-Patna (New  Incubation Building)

Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), an autonomous society under Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India has been set up with distinct focus to boost up Software export from the country. STPI is constantly working with an objective to implement STP/EHTP scheme formulated by Govt. of India, set up and manage infrastructural facilities. The Headquarters is located in New Delhi with Director General Sh. Arvind Kumar as Chief Executive Officer. STPIs have been setup across the country and have presence in 67 locations and 14 Jurisdictional Directorates of which 59 centres are in Tier-II/III cities. STPI acts as front end on behalf of the Govt. of India to take care of all the statutory needs like project approval, import approvals, bonding, export certification etc. for the member unit registering under STP’s 100% EOU scheme formulated by Govt. of India. STPI also supports startup companies by providing incubation infrastructure, with all facilities like Internet, Telephony, Fax, Backup and captive power.

It is matter of pride that these facilities have contributed significantly to the growth of Software Export from the country. Today there are 65 STPI centers all over the country helping over 5168 STP units who are fulfilling the National dream of global leadership in software exports. A fact that is aptly proven by the stupendous growth in turnover of units in the STP centers, from ₹ 52.00 Crores in 1992-93, to a staggering ₹ 8,48,398.00 Crores in 2022-2023. The total exports from the STPI-registered units under STPI-Patna in FY 2022-23 touches ₹ 3.08 crore.

STPI acts as a resource center for the member software exporting units by offering general infrastructural facilities like ready to use built up space, centralized computing facility and High Speed Data Communication (HSDC).

Its nationwide presence has helped the growth of IT industry that are fulfilling the national dream of global leadership in IT exports.
