STPI - Bhubaneswar
Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), an autonomous society under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India has been set up with distinct focus to boost up Software export from the country.
STPI-Bhubaneswar was set up in 1990 to cater to the needs of Odisha, Bihar, and Jharkhand. Today, STPI-Bhubaneswar has operational centres at Berhampur, Rourkela, Jajpur and Jeypore. Over the years, STPI-Bhubaneswar has played a seminal role to promote IT/ITeS exports from the region by boosting tech entrepreneurship and creating employment opportunities for the local youth. In FY 2020-21, STPI-registered units under STPI-Bhubaneswar jurisdiction contributed Rs. 2,589.26 crore IT/ITeS/ESDM exports.
